THE HIDDEN SUN

Master did not know for sure, the sun was hidden in his classroom.
Who wants to be the sun these days? The little students of Shitalgram Primary School in Labhpur were stating their lifegoals one by one, some said that they wanted to be doctors, some wanted to be teachers. Some wanted to be police officers, CID officers ; in the third grade classroom, they were reaponding to their master who had asked them, what do you want to be when you grow up? At the very end, Rik spoke up. Rik Bagdi. With a strange, magical smile, he said, "I want to be stupid."
Mastermind was surprised. He said, "If you are stupid, everyone will cheat you!" Rik kept laughing though. He replies, "I know they will cheat me! But if I am stupid, I cannot cheat anyone."
On the soil touched by the letters of Tarashankar Bandyopadhyay, the sun suddenly began to shine brightly. Without hesitation, school teacher Ripankanti Bala spread the video; Rik's words like the rays of Sun and the sacred Om spread virally on the social media. As many people watched the video, the words of Rik also stirred them up. It seems, Nirendrath Chakravarty's poetic character Amalkanti, who wanted to be the sun, is perhaps Rik's friend first. Fyodor Dostoevsky's Mishkin in 'The Idiot' may also know him. Did Nachiketa write for him, 'Yet I will be a fool, that is my ambition'?
Little Rik's house is in Shitalgram itself. Father Abhijit Bagdi is a day labourer by profession. Mother Suminda takes care of the house. Both said, "Rik sometimes says such things, which makes us think." And Rik's teacher Ripan says that even though he wants to be stupid, Rik is not bad at all in studies. However, he is always non-controversial. He does not get involved in fights with anyone. From sitting place to winning and losing the game - he is not in any competition anywhere.
This boy will be smart! Who sings all the time, 'Don't call me stupid'. Before April Fool's Day, the first of April, Rik's words seemed to have become the golden crust of the soil of Rahr Bengal in the eyes of that fleeting time. The school principal, Shantanu Ghosh, was also surprised to hear Rik's words. He said, "Rik's words capture a deep sense of life. I hope he will be a good citizen in the future." Sumant Ghosh, a guardian of the school, social worker and Manisha Bandyopadhyay, the headmistress of Labhpur Satyanarayan Shiksha Niketan Girls' High School, say, "It is unimaginable that a boy in the third grade can think like this. Such an attitude is desirable for every person."

Why Rik, why do you want to be stupid?
Rik laughs shyly again. Then he says, "I heard my father say, 'Everyone is cheating me because I'm stupid.' But I haven't heard that my father cheated anyone. I don't want to cheat anyone like my father."
Let people say whatever they want, "Kid, I haven't seen anyone as stupid as you." Rabindranath Tagore knows, this is a very happy thing. "In that joy, the atoms and molecules of the whole universe shiver and tremble and God smiles."
What do you think? Is Rik really stupid, or is he just being honest?
