The Hidden Power of Great Performance: Emotions

We all have the potential to function at a higher level by focusing our energy where we get results that serve us. Experiencing emotions means expending energy. A lot of us expend energy in worry, anxiety, and anger, without channeling that energy where we can get results. Like a car when we fill up our fuel tank, every mile we drive exhausts the fuel tank. Energy gets less and less. We also exhaust our energy levels on a daily basis by what we think, feel, and do. Our performance on anything requires energy, whether mental, physical, or emotional energy. We, however, carry on without thinking about where or how we are expending the energy. We have average performance, and we normalize it.
