Here’s an example I’ve witnessed firsthand. In some businesses, especially in regions like India, clients—particularly NRIs (Non-Resident Indians)—are often overcharged or offered subpar services. While these businesses might enjoy quick profits, the trust they lose outweighs any financial gain.

In the short term, they make money. But because that money is earned through dishonest means, it lacks blessings (often referred to as baraka in Arabic or other cultures). Blessings in this context mean the ability for wealth to multiply, sustain itself, and bring true prosperity. Without blessings, money has no staying power, and such businesses eventually falter.

• Gratitude is part of my daily routine. I always end my day with a gratitude prayer, which includes saying aloud all the things i'm thankful for and acknowledging the people who supported me that day.
