HGinSIGHT March
From the Editor
Earlier this month we, along with many others, celebrated International Women’s Day. This year's theme #InspireInclusion invites us all to truly include women; in the community, at work, at home and beyond. To truly include women means to openly embrace their diversity of race, age, ability, faith, body image and how they identify.
At HG we pay careful attention to the inclusion of women and to the celebration of diversity. While we are a work in progress we have achieved inclusion at all levels of leadership starting at the top with our Board Chair Margot Hurwitz,? our Executive Directors of Search and Leadership, Lynette Boerth and Kath Cook respectively, our State Managers Christine Leahy and Sarah Buckler, our head of Marketing Danna Canon and our head of Program Delivery Chantal Belmonte. Phenomenally talented women who we are very fortunate to have lead our organisation as well as coach and support others to grow and develop.?
One powerful means of inclusion is investing in women’s leadership development and I want to acknowledge our clients around Australia and New Zealand who demonstrate their commitment to this. 67% of members in our leadership development programs are women, two of whom have taken the time to share their thoughts with you in this newsletter, Maria Lingam from Western Sydney Local Health District and Hannah Murphy from Minda?in South Australia.?
Leadership develop is not a one sizes fits all approach and in response to changing sector need we have extended the range of services we now offer, both sides of our organsation, that better enable our clients to Find and Grow Great Leaders. Check out our new website to learn more.?
Last but most certainly not least our March newsletter showcases a number of fantastic roles to explore if you’re feeling ready for a career change, with more on our website and even more to be posted next week.
Until next time, mā te wā?
