HGinSIGHT OCTOBER

From the Editor

I am so pleased to share the news that our Next Generation Executive Program, currently delivered in Australia, is about to get underway in New Zealand. The first cohort of participants comes from primary care and community sector organisations across the country, which I think is particularly exciting. Based on the level of interest, we’re likely to establish a second cohort, so do get in touch if you’re interested.

While on the topic of leadership development, our Chief Executive and Executive Learning Sets remain the most “loved” of our programs a term frequently used by our members. We are currently taking registrations of interest for the 2025 calendar year, so I encourage you to get in quick by reaching out to us via our website or by clicking the link in this newsletter.

This month one of our Set members, Nathan Dart from Metro North Health in Queensland, shares his reflections on the challenges facing the mental health sector. Given World Mental Health Day earlier this months it’s a timely reminder of how important is to invest in contemporary, strengths based models of service in parallel with mental education and advocacy to combat stigma and discrimination.

We also hear from Lynette Taylor, our Executive Director of Search & Recruitment, who is frequently invited to speak on the topic of intentional versus coincidental career journeys. Recently, she shared her insights in South Australia, and next month she’ll be speaking in New South Wales. You can read a summary of her insights in this month’s newsletter.

Last but not least, check out some of the great roles we are currently recruiting for across Australia and New Zealand, with more to explore on our website.

Until next time, please enjoy a great reading.
