Yesterday, HFDE-sponsored Renfrew YFC played a friendly match at the 10,000-seater stadium of Scottish League One team Airdrieonians, originally founded in 1878. Very cold and windy, which might explain why 9,980 seats were unoccupied? Those watching benefitted from some brief sunshine before the arrival of storm Ciara. Game ended in a 4:1 defeat by opponents Bargeddie Colts, hence the boys not looking too happy at the end!
