HFC phasedown in commercial refrigerants has it's own challenges

We have spent a lot of time discussing the phasedown of HFC Refrigerants and how it pertains to the residential sector. So what about the Commercial Refrigeration sector? All HFC refrigerants are being effected by the AIM ACT so there should be no surprise that the refrigeration industry will be witnessing the same transitions, and likely even more with the wide range of system applications that are currently using HFC refrigerants. Those of us that witnessed the CFC/HCFC phaseout of refrigerants in the 90s remember the variety of refrigerants that were being offered as replacements and for new equipment. We are likely going to be going through that exact same scenario over the next few years. Don Gillis from Chemours is here to walk us through some of these refrigerants and best practices for servicing our existing HFC based refrigeration systems. See you all tomorrow @4:30 on LinkedIn, Youtube, Facebook or our Webpage!

What a great opportunity to get firsthand information on the refrigerant transition. I encourage everyone to tune in. In addition, Don will be presenting at the National HVACR Education Conference in March, an opportunity to meet him, and other industry experts.
