Hey, We just smashed our first @NADA! Here’s how.

Hey, We just smashed our first @NADA! Here’s how.

Joining @UVeye three years ago has given myself and the team fantastic opportunities to showcase what we can do in the automotive field. Having attending large trade shows such as CES, IAA and Ecomotion we were always told that NADA is THE place for automotive and dealer decision makers to see what tech is new, and they were right!

COVID has taken away the option to hold events for such a long time and it was really unique to feel like good old times again.

Overall it was a tremendous show for us. Over 300 dealerships signing up in the waiting list for a UVeye system, amazing meetings with GM’s, dealer principals and terrific conversations with people in the industry that have heard about UVeye, excited about the automatic inspection process we can provide a dealership in the USA and the world.

From a marketing perspective I feel like several moves have really played to our advantage:

1. Deciding to announce about our new Atlas Lite device during the show. Atlas Lite is the world’s first modular body scanner adapted to a dealership. Our content team enforced with our sales staff have been announcing teasers for weeks on the capabilities of our scanner able to detect scratches, dents and other damages within seconds. Great materials supplied by our partners at JP production from some of our selected dealership sites alongside dedicated landing pages to come and meet us and see the device in action all resulted in a lot of traction to the booth.

2. The value proposition of Atlas Lite and the customer experience we can provide a dealership is tremendous. UVeye can setup a complete contactless diagnostics experience and engage with all departments at the dealership. Assisting upsell on tires and underbody repairs, appraising cars right at the lane, providing automatic merchandising images to the website team, stats for parts and F&I directors and valuable data insights to the GM/principal. Not only that - once installing UVeye a dealership can upgrade the experience and the trust with customers, have them engage and download their scans while right from when driving into the lane viewing themselves on a large tv being scanned. No one else can provide an experience like this besides a progressive dealer equipped with AI technology.

3. We have great friends and partners at Volvo cars USA and in Sweden. All of us have worked really hard together led by David Oren, Rick Bryant, Scott Doering and John (J.) Marze to build a long term relationship and enhancing Volvo dealers’ locations all across the USA. While meeting the CEO Anders Gustafsson at our booth was an honoring experience - Volvo also announced that they are adopting our solutions all across the country. Talk about air support - there wasn’t a single person on the floor that didn't read this on Forbes, Automotive News or CNET while all of them wanting to see it for themselves.

Thank you to our press team and partnership with Larry Weis, APR and for the support from Russell Datz at Volvo Cars.

4. Location, location, location - even though being first timers in NADA we secured a booth at the main West Hall and also right by the back entrance. The footfall combined with an Oculus daily give away and Spin the Wheel attracted fruitful follow up conversations.

5. Our staff - we had 14 dedicated UVeye executives and Regional sales managers from Cincinnati down to Florida. They gave it all until their throats were sore, every single minute and hour on the floor and they sure know also how to have fun together - which is not less important!

Thank you Maritza, May, Jon, JT, Jim B, Itzhak, Shmuel, Adva, Ohad and Amir.

6. We were privileged to honor a women in automotive leadership round table headed by @Laurie Foster. All the ladies in our team enjoyed having those conversations and prove that this industry does definitely have some things to be proud of. Besides that we also enjoyed hosting Kyle Mountsier and Paul J Daly for ASTOU and we had fantastic sessions before with Ted Ings led by our very own Jim B.

Big shoutout to the whole marketing tem led by Marcom Director, @Samantha Foster and supported by Bryan Tal and Ohad had have prepared for months. We had terrific booth production partners @Softspace led by the one and only Gloria Clark. I want to thank you for your dedication.

See you in 2023 and as our legendary SVP of sales always says: Let’s F**** Go!

Your team was prepared and showed up ready to do business, Yaron! As I walked through the show you can tell who did the work in advance and who was waiting for dealers to show up. Was such a pleasure to meet your team and especially all of the women you shared with the women in leadership event we held.
