Hey UX fam

Hey UX fam

October is uponeth us. The mornings are chillier, the vibes are spookier, and the lattes are pumpkin-spicier. Soon enough, we'll revert back from daylight savings and succumb to the darkness, but before that happens we're preparing for our next event.

Coming Up

For November's event, Art of Problem Solving's Director of Design, John Freeborn, will teach us how NOT to apply to a design job. Learn more and RSVP on our meetup page:

SDDW Recap

September's Event

We're still swooning over the gorgeous venue Nissan Design America provided for our September event, "Designing for Inclusion: Civic Solutions for All". Thank you to Sheba Najmi for an inspiring interview that has everyone thinking about how we can apply our design skills to civic life.

Many attendees expressed interest in improving Tijuana and San Diego’s civic experience. To gauge interest in a potential initiative for public engagement, we put together a form you can fill out to let us know you're interested!

If you missed this event, we captured a glimpse of the magic for you on Instagram and all of the magic for you on YouTube.

DDX Conference

We had an awesome time attending the DDX conference and connecting with UX professionals across San Diego and beyond. Did you see our booth? We were decked out with laser-cut signs (courtesy of Hexagon Laser ?) and handed out some cute stickers.
