Hey LinkedIn, About Me (The Only Person Named Bambi You Are Probably Connected To... Or At Least, The 1st ;))

First time I’ve posted in a while, I’ve been on LinkedIn since July 2007 (so I’ve been here 16 years?!?) and am currently at 11,697 people following me (thank you, I appreciate you).

As an entrepreneur, creator and relationship builder, I think it's important for my community to know who I am at my core and where I came from.

Personal:

1. ?I’m half-Filipina, half-caucasian - proud American.? Grateful for all the opportunities and freedoms I have as an American, and what America stands for.??
2. I’m the oldest of 3 kids.
3. Special needs is a cause I care deeply about as my brother is severely disabled.
4. Currently residing in High Point, NC, grew up in Wilmington, NC
5. Lived in Brooklyn, NY for 3 years.
6. My big hobby is live concerts - especially country music and rock.
7. Traveling is my vice.
8. I’m a Pet Mom to a cat named Zen who found me outside of our neighborhood one day walking when she was a small kitten.? She followed me home so I couldn’t say no.
9. I multi-task my life all the time.??
10. I’m a Believer.? My spiritual walk is important to me.? Won’t judge anyone else’s - I like to believe we are all doing our best and will make our own path.

Professional:

1. Went to college and graduated with a double-major in Creative Writing and Professional Writing.
2. Self-taught marketer thanks to getting a marketing internship remotely for a San Francisco publication thanks to a post on MySpace.
3. I got to create and run a LGBTQ non-profit earlier in my career, and I also got to interview Cyndi Lauper.? Girls just want to have fun, you know? :)
4. My first job was as a hostess in a restaurant.??
5. Was introduced to sales during COVID, the company I was consulting with, switched from a recruiting firm to a medical supply company thanks to my suggestion as the Founder had? a background in medical supplies… and the rest is history.? I won a President’s Club award my first year full time in sales!
6. Never out of love of marketing - it’s the sibling of how I think of sales and partnerships.
7. In my spare time, I run a special events pro wrestling promotion, Masters of Ring Entertainment.? It’s always going to be a passion of mine and it’s fun to surprise people. ;-)
8. When I go to a live event, I can't help but think of how I could improve what they are doing at the merch table especially.
9. I’m constantly reading, studying and learning on how to be a better person, professionally and personally.
10. I’ve tried to keep my circles diverse, as I think it’s important to have as many different relationships and experiences as possible to draw from.? I can say that professionally and personally that I love diversity.??

I’ve worked in the private education system, I’ve worked around pro wrestlers, and I currently work in software as Director of Partnerships as well as a sales director for the largest cannabis B2B social media network. I also provide consultations? in social media and marketing. It’s a fun life!
