This time, I'm recommending the "ATHENE Startup Award UP24@it-sa" for cybersecurity startups in the DACH region. But you need to be quick!?

Aim:?To recognize and support cybersecurity startups in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, enhancing their market visibility and growth.

Focus:?Celebrating innovative cybersecurity startups with strong market entry strategies.

Eligibility:

• Startups in IT security or data protection.
• Companies must have first (pilot) customers and be founded after 2019.
• Located in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland.

Deadline for Application:?EXTENDED: 09.08.2024!

Prize Fund:

• Total: €15,000
• €7,500 for first place
• €5,000 for second place
• €2,500 for third place
• Free participation in it-sa 365 for all finalists

Selection Process:

• Submit a PDF application and pitch presentation (up to 10 slides)
• Optional 60-second video.
• Five startups will be shortlisted to pitch live at the it-sa Expo&Congress on 23.10.2024.
• Winners are determined by an independent jury.

Award Ceremony:?23.10.2024 at it-sa Expo&Congress.

Additional Opportunity:?All finalists receive free participation in it-sa 365, enhancing their market presence for a year.

For all Brain Health Startups

I came across a great pitch competition for science and health startups focused on brain-related topics. It’s the Brain Innovation Days Pitch Competition 2024. While there’s no cash prize, it’s a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure and make valuable connections in the field. Check it out and apply by 31 August 2024.

Frankfurter Sprungfeder

I came across the Frankfurter Sprungfeder competition for young startups looking to establish their brand. Apply by 29 August 2024. Winners get prizes worth over €100,000, including coaching and media coverage. Open to German startups founded in the last five years with innovative ideas and market success.?The company is based in Germany, not necessarily in Frankfurt!

3. EIC-Pathfinder Challenges

There is an EU budget of 160 Million Euros for different challenges. Deadline for the application is 16.10.2024.?

About the EIC-Pathfinder Challenges:

The aim of the EIC Pathfinder Challenges program is to support visionary research and the development of cutting-edge technologies that can lead to transformative innovations. By focusing on ambitious, interdisciplinary projects, the program seeks to create breakthrough advancements in science and technology, addressing key societal challenges and driving Europe's future technological leadership.

Objective: Establish a robust foundation for emerging or new technology sectors

Technology Readiness Level (TRL): 2 - 4

Consortia: Individual projects or collaborative projects

Project Volume: Approximately €4 million

Single-Stage Application Process: Part B of the application, max 30 pages
