Hey CEO! Your Lack of Digital Visibility is Costing Your Company Millions.

Hey CEO! Your Lack of Digital Visibility is Costing Your Company Millions.

That’s the bold statement I made in a recent episode of Mastering Modern Selling with my co-hosts Carson V. Heady and Tom Burton —and I stand by it.

In today’s world, CEOs can no longer afford to be invisible. A strong LinkedIn presence is no longer optional—it’s a business necessity for generating pipeline, driving credibility, and opening doors that traditional sales tactics no longer can.

?? Why is this shift happening?

?? What should CEOs post on LinkedIn?

?? How much time does it actually take?

We tackled these questions and more in Episode #126 of Mastering Modern Selling:

?? Watch the full episode below: Or, jump straight to the most valuable moments:

?? [0:00 - 2:30] → What It Means to Be a “Digital CEO” (and Why It’s Non-Negotiable)

?? [5:30 - 10:15] → Why Old-School Sales Tactics Aren’t Cutting It Anymore

?? [12:45 - 18:30] → How CEOs Can Open More Doors for Their Sales Team

?? [21:00 - 25:45] → The #1 Thing CEOs Should Be Doing on LinkedIn

?? [30:15 - 36:40] → What to Post on LinkedIn Without Overcomplicating It

?? [42:10 - 48:50] → A Simple, No-Extra-Time Strategy for Consistent Content

?? [55:00 - 1:00:00] → How One CEO Used LinkedIn to Drive More Revenue

The CEO’s Role Has Changed

Once upon a time, CEOs could hide behind closed doors while sales teams did the heavy lifting. Not anymore.

?? 82% of people trust companies more when their CEO is active on LinkedIn.

?? A CEO’s presence on LinkedIn gives their sales team credibility and opens doors faster—just like when a CEO used to join high-stakes meetings to reassure prospects.

?? If your competitors' CEOs are visible and you’re not, you’re losing deals before they even start.

Yet, many CEOs still resist LinkedIn because they believe:

?? “I don’t have time for LinkedIn.”

?? “I don’t know what to post.”

?? “This is marketing’s job.”

In Episode #126, we debunk these myths and lay out a simple system for CEOs to become visible in 1 hour per week.

Download 1-Hour Per Week CEO Playbook

The Digital CEO Playbook (in 1 Hour Per Week)

Here’s the good news: You don’t need to spend hours crafting perfect posts.

Instead, we recommend a Live Show & Podcast Strategy that allows you to:

? Record one 30-45 min conversation per week.

? Turn that into multiple LinkedIn posts, blogs, and email content.

? Stay visible without overcomplicating it.

Your team (or an agency like Fist Bump) can repurpose this content into:

?? A LinkedIn post strategy that drives engagement.

?? A newsletter that nurtures ideal prospects.

?? A content library for your sales team to share in outreach.

?? What happens next?

Your sales team gets more responses because buyers already recognize your name.

Your brand builds trust and credibility at scale.

You stand out from competitors who still rely on outdated sales tactics.

Final Thought: Will You Lead or Be Left Behind?

The Digital CEO era is here. The question is: Will you embrace it or get left behind?

Your sales team needs you. Your brand needs you. It’s time to step up.

It's important, but a lot of the CEOs that need to hear this aren't on Linked-In or has someone else managing the site for them Brandon Lee. It is one of many areas that leaders should be focused on, but when they are so busy in the business with their heads down, they unfortunately aren't on Linked-In and other medians.

Brandon Lee I believe and everyone who is looking to make a mark in the digital world cannot afford to so without being visible on a social platform.
