Hero to Zero

January is always tough for me. The previous year is in the books and so is everything you and your team have accomplished. The benefits of these accomplishments may continue, but that's what you did last year.
At the beginning of every year I always find something to inspire me and it is usually different each time. It could be working with a new client (photo above of me goofing off at a photoshoot for one). It could be attending a seminar, summit, or a roundtable meeting. Sometimes it is seeing the amazing work that our team is creating, or the work of others. It could simply be a family member (memories of my Dad saying something to the effect of “just get on with it Seamus!” — he never called me by my real name).
The inspiration, energy, and excitement for 2018 is building for me. I am curious to find out where you find inspiration at the beginning of each year. What inspires you to continue on your path toward achieving your vision?

7 年Inspiration can be cultivated. As you say, it's just doing something a bit different. Even if I'm starting a new project and it's not going anywhere, it often sparks an idea that's even better. Might happen reading a book, watching a movie trailer, walking the dog, or just looking up at the rooflines instead of down at the pavement. To be inspired, you have to look around and get out of the routine for a moment or two. At least that's what's worked for me.

7 年I find myself shocked at how easily inspired I am by my continual want to prove we are the best at what we do. The true desire to solve our clients problems is real for us. I feel like I am holding on to a pack of sled dogs or the leash of a Labrador after a ball with our team. My team our partners and our clients just get me going. Hell Charlie's this article gets me going. For us this year it's all about building Culture. I mean beast mode Culture. If you got toxic . get it out or get out. That and my Toddler Huddy Monster and newborn Huxley Given Much love to everything above. #love #beinspired #thankscharlie By the way I like your name. Hey. it's Charlie! I mean who doesn't like Charlie cmon
