We’re seeking an exceptional, experienced Payroll Officer to join our team of forward-thinking business strategists.

We’re looking for someone who understands the special significance of payroll AND customer relationships. In this fast-paced role, you’ll work closely with clients to ensure their payrolls are processed accurately, on-time and on budget. You’ll have the opportunity to continually streamline payroll processes with our clients through the ongoing support and communication you provide to your clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting directly to the Payroll Manger, you will be responsible for the following:
• Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls across multiple businesses ranging from 1 to 500+ employees
• Working closely with our HR team to facilitate accurate set up of new employees in the payroll system
• Working closely with our HR team to facilitate accurate processing of termination and redundancy payments
• Superannuation lodgements
• Liaise directly with Clients in regard to missing information and queries
• Send Payroll reports to Client after each payrun
• Provide system and process support and guidance to our clients and respond to any queries or additional information required in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have outstanding communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple relationships with varied stakeholders including internal team members and external clients.

You will be proactive in delivering support to our clients, finding solutions and opportunities to help streamline and improve efficiency in their payroll processes.

The successful candidate will also demonstrate the following experience and attributes:

Done your time (2+ years) in a payroll processing role and are ready to take a step to the next level

Worked with cloud based payroll systems before - the techie side . . . and knocked it out of the park!

Gained thorough knowledge of payroll, modern awards and the NES to keep any business compliant with perfect payroll accuracy

A love of working with business owners to identify gaps and recommend solutions
