Analysis: Palo Alto Networks Disrupts Itself, Again

Palo Alto Networks CEO Nikesh Arora disclosed this week that the company has decided to take a short-term hit to growth (including through increasing free product offers to customers) to accelerate consolidation on its unified cybersecurity platform over the longer term.

In his analysis of that new growth strategy , CRN cybersecurity reporter Kyle Alspach says Arora is proving once again that taking the longer-term view matters more than short-term impacts on stock price.
