The 3 Ws and how they play into assets.

  • Who is this for?
  • What does it do/is it?
  • Why buy?

This hook zeroes in on "who is this for?" and matches it with a pain point that this product solves. And it goes one step further to speak directly to the viewer using the word "you." It's an old copywriting strategy, and it works.

To see how easy this is, let's try another example -> You sell a portable iPhone photo printer, and the opener could be "If you have a million photos on your phone and never get to printing them..." (I'm clearly not our copywriter, but you get the idea.)
