Here's What Running an Accelerator's Been Like

Running an accelerator has been a tremendously rewarding challenge. We're about a month in to our first class and are all pretty excited with how it's going so far.

Our companies Localtarian , Reveu.me , & Croissant (formerly Perqy) are in a similar part of the maturation curve, having been laser beamed focused on Targeting and Segmentation the last few weeks. They've been grinding hard as they prepare to deploy the Private/Public beta versions of their products this coming month.

On the other hand, Bandhub 's been on the market close to a year with 50k+ users making music together. Pablo and the team are working on increasing the amount of users that get 'Deeply Engaged', a metric they defined for themselves.

Internally as an organization? We're challenging ourselves often, taking a hard look at our methodology to make sure we're approaching building great companies the best we can. As long as we stay flexible and keep our ears open to feedback, we're confident we'll continue executing and raising the bar.

At the end of the day, communities are all about people; and we've been watching in amazement as a beautiful startup ecosystem has began developing here in Harlem - slowly, but surely.
