How was your first summit, Alison??

It was really inspiring, I really enjoyed it because it's been a perfect blend of meeting peers and others who are doing similar jobs to me, who are facing similar challenges. It’s been really inspiring to connect with other people doing what I do. Also, meeting with the suppliers has created really useful conversations. They've been very relevant and then that mixed with the strategy sessions has made it really worthwhile.

Is the event different to what you expected??

Yes, I think it is. I think it's been friendlier than I was expecting and much more relaxed, which I've really enjoyed. There's no pressure, all the conversations with the suppliers have been very genuine and open and they are looking to see how they can genuinely help but there's no hard sell. which has been really refreshing.

What has been the best part of the event for you??

For me personally, I think it's the strategy sessions. Really understanding and getting to hear from some really first-class speakers. It's a great experience, as when you're doing your job day-to-day, you do get stuck with what you know, so hearing from external speakers is a real benefit. ?

Would you recommend this event??

Definitely. I'm so glad to be here. The first two times I should have been here, I couldn't make it but it's definitely something I'm going to suggest to others as it is just such a worthwhile event.?
