Here’s to the Unsung Heroes

This post is for YOU. Yes you, my team and colleagues who I work and interact with on a daily basis. Many of you see often the outcome of the hard work THIS team does, and what better time to recognize those around me who make this all happen. Sasha, Danielle, Caitlin, Kiara, Akyla, Deb & Hannah – Thank you for all that you do. Thank you to my counterparts Cris, Tracie, Sam & Cooper for always partnering together as our social impact allows close collaboration. Thank you to everyone else in our Human Resources organization at TU. All of you show up in your own unique ways to ensure our associates are taken care of and make the world better than it was yesterday.

You are all unsung heroes and I’d like you to take a moment and enjoy this recognition. Because without you, this organization wouldn’t be the same. These past 2 years have taught us many lessons, and at the forefront of it all is humanity, empathy and compassion. I’m proud of the work our team has led along with our peers to ensure our values show up every day in our work.

We can all play a part to recognize others, however small. What about the associate who decides to work hard and just show up today, even if they are battling personal issues? Parents who are doing their best balancing urgent deadlines and quality time with their kids? Those who are breaking generational curses, and decided you aren’t given up? All of you are real life heroes.

?The point of this post is to tell you that while you may think your extra effort, can-do attitude or radiant energy go unnoticed, they don’t. I see you. Unsung heroes like you make a difference wherever you go, whatever you do. ?Who is your unsung hero you want to recognize?

Enjoy the holidays with your family, rest, relax and recharge.
