Here's To Moving Forward!
Goodbyes are challenging/painful but take you to something better if they are timed well.
So, here's to another such 'goodbye'. Where after 3 years and 2 months, after reporting to 8 different bosses on diverse projects, a journey that started (as a research project for me) from one organization becoming two and then a portfolio of 10 organizations across 4 industries being added.
This was indeed once in a lifetime experience.
I was lucky that I worked with a local consultant as well as with a team of global consultants; from reporting to directors, owners, c-level executives to department heads I learned from them and their experiences.
I tried my best to stay a 'non-conformist who is a possibility practitioner' in all my assignments, be it working as L&D manager who sold furniture too when asked to develop a module for creating an in-store selling experience; from designing service orientation module to taking up recruitment, KPIs & JDs development, conducting performance gap audits, and managing employee communications and engagement initiatives.
IBL is by far the best exposure and experience I had and deciding to move on was tough especially when there were many opportunities and an amazing boss and team. But like I always say, one should not miss the right chance to say goodbye and regret later for getting into comfort traps.
So, I'm working on few freelance training and consulting assignments for now and would love to meet people/organizations interested in working on their sales, customer experience, and HR/OD.
Looking forward to moving forward and exciting times ahead!

6 年Michaela.... Your decision to leave and sharing that experience is one of the contributing factor in giving me the courage to take this step and leave my comfort traps to start a new journey. And I wanna thank you for that.
