Many of you know that I love taking a work break with TikTok especially when the posts align with my prospecting.

Since my focus is always on improving prospecting results, I looked at this TikTok where he describes.?

  • Start with conclusion first. ?

Then:?

  • Key arguments?

Followed by:?

  • Detailed information

This theory aligns with my prospecting 6 steps in building a prospecting call or debate on why a prospect should stop their business day to meet with you.

The conclusion of a net new meeting with a business technology sales executive should result in the prospect identifying that investigating a working relationship with you might create a positive enhancement in their work and profitability because it has worked successfully with others in the same industry.?

The key argument in prospecting is always?“why would they want to meet with you”.??The answer to that argument is you:

  • Understand of their industry?
  • Can help them use technology to be more successful.
  • Can articulate their exact workflow.?
  • Can help them meet their compliance.
  • Know the names of the knowledge-based data that their prospect must utilize.?
  • Know how all your solutions will help them.

That is the argument on why they would want to meet with you with detailed information on why this meeting would be valuable to them.

He talks about “Never sell the product - sell the results”. It's like this gentleman and I went to the same school of thought. I never talk about copiers or printers or making more copies or printing; I talk about the results. I talk about the exact usage, and I speak it in 60 industry languages.

Everyone already has a copier vendor, and they are a dying breed. However, the business technology sales executive who drives results even through their prospecting conversations, who understands and can quickly explain that the conclusion of working with your dealership will ensure that your prospective customers can meet their initiatives with cost effective customized technology recommendations that align with the compliance, cyber security, remote accessibility, and profitability initiatives set by their executive senior management team, that person is thriving and they are who prospects want to speak with and who is creating meetings in 2024!?
