Here’s how Google Search responds to generic AI-generated content

The previous SEO consultant for a client recommended creating simple service pages for each of the 29 services offered. Unfortunately, the consultant generated generic content for these pages and used the same image across all of them. As a result, Google only indexed the homepage and the "About Us" page, leaving the rest out of search engine results.

The entire implementation process took about six months, but there were no immediate results—Google wasn’t responding.

The missing piece was publishing new content. Edits and rewrites alone weren’t enough to prompt Google’s attention.
Once a few bottom-of-the-funnel content pieces were published and linked to the optimized service pages, Google began indexing the pages.
As a result, all 29 service pages were successfully indexed, leading to an immediate increase in impressions.
