If your business has upgraded to version 24H2 of Windows 11, you may have encountered an irritating glitch in File Explorer.
File Explorer, the familiar window used to navigate files and folders, usually operates seamlessly. However, some users have reported problems with the “See more” menu after installing this update.
This menu, represented by three dots, typically appears just below your mouse cursor, providing options like “Select All” or “View Properties.”
Unfortunately, a recent bug causes the “See more” menu to jump to the top of the screen, often vanishing out of sight. If File Explorer is in full-screen mode, some menu options may become completely inaccessible.
Annoying, isn’t it?
Fortunately, there’s a quick fix: Use File Explorer in windowed mode instead of full screen. To switch, click the square icon in the top-right corner (next to the “X” used for closing the window). You can then resize File Explorer as needed, ensuring the “See more” menu remains usable, even if it’s still acting up.
The good news is that Microsoft is aware of the issue and is working on a fix.
Small glitches like this can be disruptive when you and your team are trying to stay productive.
