Here's how to explain why you're leaving your current job

Every time I coach my clients on mastering the art of interviewing, they usually ask me "how do I explain why I'm leaving?"

Since this comes up so often, I thought I'd write an article on it for my Talking Taboo series where I break it all down for you.

You can check it out here: https://bit.ly/3zpIY8R

Happy Reading and don't forget to leave a comment after the article letting me know your thoughts :)

Good advice. When I was asked in previous interviews about why I was leaving I was honest and tactful. I was burned out, missing out on a lot of family time and needed to work someplace where I could care for home and family without feeling stressed about work.

Preparing and practicing for the interview will reduce your anxiety and give you better results, Chelsea Jay, Career and Leadership Coach.

How might acknowledging insecurities open new perspectives on interviews?
