Here’s How to Create the Perfect Sales Pitch

Does this sound familiar— “Hi, we are XYZ Company! We offer awesome products! Our customers love everything about us!”

If it does, you’re using a template sales pitch. And what happens if we’re all using it with potential buyers? They will tune us out, inevitably hurting our chances of making a sale. 

It’s time to quit the generic sales pitch! Start incorporating these key components into your pitch to deliver better results and happier clients.

1. Mutual point of agreement. Start off by building a connection with the potential buyer, which is usually done in a face-to-face meeting. But if you’re an online marketer, then what? You’ll need to wield content that shows you and the client have a mutual agreement.

2. A solution to a problem. Consumers buy things because they believe it will solve all of their problems. Show how your product or services are the perfect solution to these problems. To do so, explain the problem and talk about the solution… a lot. 

3. A point of difference. It’s likely your products or services are not the only ones the buyers are considering. Explain what you can offer that the competitors can’t. 

4. The benefits and features. What is the unique selling point? Highlight the benefits and features of your product. Discuss how they will solve the consumer’s problems. Better yet, explain why the target audience would even care about these features.

5. A call-to-action. Finally, the most important factor—ask your prospective buyer to take an action! If you don’t ask for it, consider it no deal.
