Most people think about writing a Book in the completely outdated 3-Phase linear approach and that is, start with writing.
They try and figure out a way to write a bit every day so they stay ‘motivated’ or they ask around for accountability ‘buddies’ to keep them on track, writing every day.
For some people this approach to the writing phase works however it usually takes months to come anywhere near finishing, mostly because people who write like this never started writing with what the end of writing would look like.
Phase two then is thinking about and perhaps finding a publisher for the finished manuscript and here is again, a lot of time involved when some publishers will make you jump through hoops to be accepted as getting published while others will charge you without you fully understanding what’s involved and what you really get and what not.
This is not because the publisher ‘hides’ anything this is because their language is not usually your language.
Or, what is much more dangerous, you find a ‘cheap’ publishing option and only long after the process is finished, discover you don’t have physical access to your published book online until the ‘contract’ time you entered into is up.
YES, this does happen!
And even if you’re ‘over the moon’ to be published, you receive a box of books and you’re posting photos of it all over social media to let people know they can now buy your book…you’ve still got to figure out…
Phase 3: Marketing!
It does not follow, just because you’ve written and published your book, and you’re posting about it, that people ‘automatically’ see it and buy it.
The marketing phase is the one most people with a book really ‘run into the wall’, and by that I mean, they just don’t know how to promote their book.
Sure, you can ‘google’ how to market your book but you’ll get the same outdated information for marketing your book as you will when googling how to write a book and here is why:
The information is, firstly, ?based on ALL types of books, fiction, non-fiction, children's books, recipe books, biographies, simply on any type of book.
And if you know anything at all about marketing, when you ‘target’ or market to ‘everybody’ you’ll reach nobody.
So, when participants of my most recent workshop learned how my book writing framework is specifically designed to help coaches, consultants and other savvy people in business write a book that achieves a business outcome for the writer they were most surprised that I start working with clients on the marketing!
You see, we must first know WHAT you actually want to achieve with your book, for example, if you want your book to support credibility for your coaching method because it is so different to anything on the market, then we need to know WHO specifically your coaching method is designed for!

And that’s not all that makes my book writing framework so different to anything on the market.
Clients who get my help to write their book work on the 3 Book Writing Phases in an interconnected way instead of linear, one after the other.
Starting with mapping out the marketing path, then the client can write their book because we’ve also clearly determined what needs to go into the book for the reader, nothing more nothing less for that reader.
While the writing takes place, I show the client exactly HOW to publish their book so they keep full control AND all the royalties from their book.
The client will know every step that goes into the publishing part and so can write another book, and another if they wish because they learned the process.
AND the entire process, all three book writing phases, get finished in no time because at no point does the client have to wait for anything or anyone. –
