Here's To Another Year of Chances!
Hello, 2020! For some good reason, it’s a good looking year and writing 2020 is easy which pins up our hopes that 2020 should be an easy year for all us. I am sure we all have made our list of resolutions and pledges, however, we have made only one – ExhibitCares. It is our initiative to save the world and we are going to do bit by bit, plant by plant, to leave this world a better place. Global warming is at alarming levels and we all should act now before we get winter chills in April before our fundamental right of fresh air is stripped from us.
While I am writing this piece, I am also looking at my unpacked suitcases which are getting stroked up to make another trip to Las Vegas for CES. Excited? Hell Yes! There is no better way to start the year than to nosedive right in the middle of the global stage of innovation at CES, meet the people who matter, and yes meet them over drinks. CES is also becoming a mini Auto show with major Auto manufacturers showcasing all the connectivities and Tech coming up. About five years back major launches used to be announced from the Smartphone brands but now the gears are slowly shifting with smartphones players moving a month to GSMA - MWC Barcelona and taking their space are the Auto manufactures. As usual, we will decode and bring to you the Tech that matters; you can plug into thetechy. com and our Instagram also follow us on YouTube feeds where we will be live from the show floor.
No time for Jet lag or hangover, we are already thinking ahead of the upcoming second edition of Exhibit Auto Tech awards and the Inaugural issue launch of BBC Top Gear which is going to come out of Exhibit’s Garage in its second innings. Perhaps, we think it is the only good rejoice for the stressed Auto industry which is trying to speed up and find the right lane juggling between the GST, BS6 and our country’s slow economy. Anand Mahindra stepping down as chairman from the board paving the way for Puneet Goenka and the new leadership after the JV with Ford keeps all of us more inquisitive. Can’t the entrepreneurs and owners run more efficiently than the professionals who will come on board? For India, he will remain the “Henry Ford” and how rightly so!
Until we meet again.
