Here’s to 2016 FY - SOLID STATE DISKS LTD SEES CONTINUED GROWTH.

This year will prove to be a great year for us. Not only have we increased our revenue for FY 2016/17 beyond expectation, we have also double our sales and accounting staff.

This is thanks to the increase in sales of flash storage product and the demand to replace legacy and obsolete storage products.

SOLID STATE DISKS have been manufacturing its SCSIFlash disk emulation product since 2007 and last year launched its SCSIFlash Tape emulator along with the FLOPPYFlash Floppy emulator and MO emulator.

The demand for these products is unprecedented, as legacy systems and application, which were bespoke designed with a life span of 30 plus years continue to be the mainstay in industries such as Telco, Semiconductor, Military, Manufacturing (CNC), Transport, Energy and Process Control. These systems were built to last and continue to run well. However, thanks to the laws of physics those devices, which contain moving parts eventually fail. They simply wear out. Our emulation products emulate the make, model, interface, capacity and sector size of the original drive but writes data to solid state, thus removing any moving parts – clever, right?

Our OEM Flash distribution business has also seen record numbers. As the demand for traditional rotating disk dwindles, the demand for solid state disks and flash product has reached fever pitch. Add the fact that we design and manufacture products that require Flash just sets us apart from any other distributor out there. We have genuine knowledge and experience of “design in” and can provide a level of pre-sales support no one else can.
