What happened in July?
In July we celebrated a special BIG Birthday for one of the Team!!?
Then at our women's event we welcomed guest speaker Jodie Newell who talked all about?4 Pillars of health & vitality.
Our drop in breakfast saw new people networking, and plenty of free toast, coffee and chats happening.?
Some of the team took a well earned few days break attending the British Grand Prix (a life long bucket list activity) and then flew off for a few days in beautiful, sunny Rome.
Then we visited our new members SEPAR International for a tour of their training centre and offices - well worth a visit!
Finally we ended the month with our Signature breakfast in the Green Dragon, a valuable group who shared the HMBiz love and we listened to Julian Vaughan MIH and he told us about the acquisition process, refurbishment programme and the impact of Covid on the Hotel.
We also welcomed some awesome new members!

Ashley Leeds is the unstoppable 15-Minute Guy! With over 32 years in sales, Ashley empowers business owners to become sales and marketing savvy.
His expertise on LinkedIn led to teaching over 500 people on his LinkedIn Daily Habit Workshop. He teaches LinkedIn on stage, through webinars, YouTube, and podcasts. From free resources to 1:1 services, Ashley helps users excel on this professional platform. Energetic and engaging, he'll unveil LinkedIn's value whenever you talk to him leaving you with key takeaways for profile and LinkedIn improvement.
From Liverpool, Laura is known as the Xero Queen due to her expertise in translating accountancy terminology to Business Owners. Laura has also shared publicly her journey of sobriety having suffered with alcoholism and addiction in the past.
Jodie Newell is the founder of Impact & Thrive. She is a nutritionist, personal trainer and sports masseuse. Jodie will be speaking about "The Power of Pausing" How to stay in the present moment to enhance your body, mind and business !

Most importantly, you’ll meet, share experiences with, and learn from other businesses from across our county and further afield making lots of new business contacts whilst also catching up with familiar faces by taking part in the Networking Session.

The Herefordshire Means Business Signature Breakfast occurs on the 4th Wednesday of every month. Come and network in a proactive business community.

The UKSPF Herefordshire Research and Development Innovation Fund is open for applications with businesses encouraged to submit an expression of interest (EOI) as soon as possible.
The UKSPF Herefordshire Research and Development Innovation Fund is a revenue grant scheme that has been funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
The aim is to help Herefordshire businesses to:
? Increase productivity
? Access new markets
? Develop new products / processes and services leading to new employment opportunities and a more resilient and competitive business community
Grants of between £5000 and £24,999 are available to Herefordshire businesses to:
? Enable the procurement of external support and revenue items or activity to undertake research and development and innovation projects and
? Develop and adopt innovative new processes, products and services
The grant can contribute up to 80% of the eligible costs.
