Here we are, so many times our lives crossed.

A quick glimpse, you missed me by a moment.

I missed you, your door closed as mine opened.

Here we are, after so many years together, hand in hand, so close, so in love.

Maybe it could have happened sooner.

I could have passed your door a moment sooner or a moment later, but I didn’t.

Here we are, so late in life, but our love is so new, so alive.

It happened for us when it was our time for love.

Here we are, together after so many years.

I could have walked next door, knocked on your door, but I didn’t.

The time was not right, but here we are after so many years sharing a life together, forever.
