Here we go!

Holy Guacamole…my countdown continues.

31 days until Thanksgiving

45 days until Hanukkah

60 days until Christmas

61 days until Kwanzaa

I just let our posse of dogs (and our 24 year old cat) out for a last hurrah for the evening in the desert breeze and spent a few moments staring at the clear desert sky – and the stars up there. Caught myself dreaming of possibilities. (As a side note, our posse is all rescue and perfect - I wish I was as perfect...never could be)

Shouldn’t we all be dreaming of possibilities? And one step further…how to contribute in one small, or large way into turning those possibilities into a path forward? I say yes. A big, bold, resounding, screaming, YES.

We are living through, fighting through, and helping each other through some unprecedented times. The old saying that art imitates life rings so true in our business. To my friends that share steps in the industry that I love, specialty retail. You cannot have “specialty” without “special”…

And that brings me full circle, and to my thoughts of the possibilities.

Over the next couple of months we have opportunities that may not be boundless, but may have wider boundaries. Over the next couple of months, we have opportunities to be more and better. Let that sink in.

Let’s be more and lets be better. Better than we’ve ever been.

We can win and win big.
