Here I am on the road Again

As the Metallica song says I am indeed, once again...

"New nomad" the term I am sure you have heard before, those that for one reason or the other move around looking for better work opportunities.

Being born in Vigo, Galicia, a town with little work opportunities helped me become one.

17 years ago I decided to chase the "Celtic Tiger" in Dublin, and was lucky to be hired by one of the best companies out there, PayPal, where I learned so much when e-commerce in Europe was starting to boom.

After almost 7 years in Ireland it was time to go to Berlin, possibly the most "in" place in Europe back then. My objetive was to be on the the merchant side, heading the launch of the Spanish market for a "small" start up (which was a large German Client for PayPal Germany) called Electronic Star, trying to pick up quick on affiliatte, SEO, SEM, localization, logistics, it was a great ride and we had an amazing team that achieved a lot.

Shortly came the opportunity to go to lisbon, working for a Latin American Payment company was exactly what I always wanted to do, how cool would it be to create a payment system under one platform for the whole Latin America?

Almost 6 years after at Uol Boacompra, opened more than 10 countries and added +100 local payment options.

Having spent this time in Lisbon and see first hand how it has become a well known start up city, has been nothing but incredible.

After such a long and intense time (both personally and proffesionally) I have relocated to the Stuttgart area, and decided to look for something new from August onwards.

What can i do?

• Start E-commerce Operations in all Spanish and PT speaking countries.
• Consult on payments and risk globally (with special focus/expertise in Latin America).
• Head the Payments Operations.
