Here it is again... The Monday

Hope you enjoyed your holidays with family.

Now it's that Monday again.

We have to get back to work, and it might feel difficult. But always remember, the reason why we could enjoy our holidays was because:

We were working hard.

Our work is feeding our family.

Everything you spent money on during the holidays—clothes, fun experiences, gifts, and investments—is a result of your hard work.

Ask someone who is unemployed or has little income; they likely wouldn't have enjoyed their holidays because what's there to celebrate?

The reason these few days are so special is because they’re rare for someone who works hard and stays focused.

Working hard doesn’t mean:

Losing your health

Neglecting time with family

Missing out on life’s pleasures

Many think working hard is about long hours, but it’s not just about quantity. It’s about quality.

Working hard means:

Getting up early for exercise, whether that’s the gym, a walk, or yoga

Saying no to sugar, cigarettes, alcohol, and junk food

Avoiding time-sucking “friends” and toxic relationships

Choosing books over social media

Taking a refreshing dip in cold water

Writing a chapter or a thoughtful email

When you focus on what matters, 4 hours of dedicated work can be more productive than 8 hours filled with distractions. Many sit in an office for 8 hours and claim a 40-hour work week, but their actual focused work is likely 3-5 hours max.

So, don’t think you shouldn’t work hard—just make sure you’re focused and free from distractions.

Don’t try to accelerate with one foot on the brake. Removing what holds you back is as important as moving forward. Purify your mind and body; only with a clear mind and strong body can you build something meaningful.

The goal is to make sure your work fuels your life, and in turn, that you fuel your work with your life’s energy and purpose.

Get back to work. Now with more focus.
