People are born with incredible potential but very few realize their true capabilities.
Motivation is what drives human achievement, and motivation comes in many forms.
Motivation can be external.? A “pull” that compels people to institute change.? A goal or incentive that inspires us to do something extraordinary.
Motivation can also be internal.? A “push” that originates in our brain carefully orchestrated with our nervous system to coordinate a desire for change.? This can be driven by psychological or physical need.
Many experts believe motivation is closely associated with personality traits or psychological need.?
There’s also compelling evidence that emotions have a huge role in motivating behavior.
Regardless, motivation is at the foundation of remarkable change and every person has the potential of doing incredibly things.???
It’s never too late to become the person we aspire to be.
It starts with a decision to be extraordinary then “acting” on the right motivation that inspires our journey.
"Nothing in the world is more common than unsuccessful people with talent."
Here are 6 examples of motivation that can inspire greatness:
Incite
Our "nervous system" is the source of hormones that create energy for action.? It’s internal and motivate by perceived "needs" that inspire behavior.? Hunger is a perfect example of a need that arises and inspires action.? I believe we can train our brain to emphasize the urgency of making something important and leveraging that desire to motivate action, consistently.? Learn to LOVE learning and you will acquire an appetite for learning that is insatiable.???
Target
Motivation and goals are closely related.? When we create goals that internalize a desire to change behavior by reconstructing a positive mindset, we leverage the power of cognition.? Once we establish a target, we can embrace the challenge of achieving something great by energizing our behavior with commitment.? Commitment leads to persistence and persistence strengthens our focus.?

Passion
Ironically, the words emotion and motivation have their origin from the Latin word MOVERE.?? Translated, it means MOVE.? Emotions provide energy that inspires action.?? It’s a bodily response created by the sympathetic nervous system.? Our heart begins to palpate, and our pupils dilate.? We are ready for ACION.? By cultivating passions, we invigorate this process and generate motivation.???
Disposition
The study of personality and motivation is fascinating and may explain why some people are blessed with incredible motivation.? I am fortunate to have endless motivation.? Some people are more open to experience, which inspires them to seek creativity and constant improvement.? The research on what motivates introverts and extroverts is remarkable, and may explain how different people react to risk, humor, stress, agreeableness, and happiness.??????
"Your problem isn't the problem. Your reaction is the problem."?
Change
The desire to change often inspires motivation.? When that desire is strong the ability to change behavior is powerful.? The challenge, motivation can fade and being consistently motivated is a problem for many people.? Wonderful research has been conducted on “flow” by Dr. Csikszentmihalyi.? Flow is a state where our activity becomes effortless, and our mind and body get lost in the process of engagement.? When immersed in flow, motivation no longer becomes necessary.??
Happiness
I believe the desire to create more joy and happiness can be incredibly motivating, assuming we have defined what happiness and success look like to the us.? Many people rely on society’s definition of happiness and success, which creates a myriad of problems.? When we define what makes us happy, and establish concrete values that are nonnegotiable, we gravitate in the direction of more meaning and substance.? We build on the momentum of positive emotions and leverage eudemonic happiness as the source of our strength.? We resist chasing pleasure as the source of our happiness.????
"There are two types of people who will tell you that you cannot make a difference in this world: those who are afraid to try and those who are afraid you will succeed."
Sum it up.
