Here Are 5 Things I’ve Started Doing in 2025

Every new year offers an opportunity to reflect, reset, and rethink how we live our lives. As I look ahead to 2025, I see it as my time to break old habits and create the life I desire. Although it has been challenging, I am focusing on actions that promote growth and fulfillment. If you're ready to make this year count, here are five things I have started doing that you might want to try as well:

1. Push Yourself Beyond Your Limits

"The only way to achieve the impossible is to believe it’s possible."?

Stepping out of your comfort zone may feel daunting, but that’s where true growth occurs. We often limit ourselves, convincing ourselves that certain goals are too big or out of reach. Imagine flipping that mindset and taking the first step toward what once seemed impossible.?

Identify one goal that stretches your limits-whether it’s applying for an opportunity or learning a new skill. Commit to that first move, as starting is often the hardest part. When you push beyond your comfort, you open doors to growth and new experiences. Even if the journey doesn't go as planned, the progress you make will be invaluable.

2. Invest in Your Mental and Physical Well-Being

I believe physical health greatly affects mental well-being. Back in 2022, I started walking daily, I don’t know if it made a massive difference in my physical health, but I can guarantee that my mental health improved a lot just from walking. It amazed me how walking could clear my mind and make me feel lighter. However, when my exams hit, I got inconsistent and let the habit slide. I am planning to go for a walk at least four days a week. It’s about showing up for myself and improving both my mental and physical health with one simple act.?

I’m also learning to value my perspective over others' opinions. It’s important to listen, but not every opinion should influence my decisions. I'm focusing on what feels right for me and tuning out the noise.

3. Make This Year Your Year

I’ve decided it’s time to stop being stuck in the same cycle. My routine has been far from productive-I’ve spent too much time overthinking, doubting myself, and getting lost in endless scrolling on social media. It feels like time slips through my fingers, and at the end of the day, I’m left wondering where it all went.

This year, I'm committed to breaking old patterns. Instead of doubting myself, I'm choosing to take action and focus on what truly matters-working on my goals and building a fulfilling life. To make this year meaningful, I’ll take control of my time and mindset. It won’t be perfect, but every small step is progress toward the life I want.

4. Cut Down on Social Media Time

Last year, I spent about five to six hours a day on Instagram, endlessly scrolling through posts and stories. Honestly, it made me feel worse about myself. I constantly compared my life to others, felt like I wasn’t doing enough, and ended up in a spiral of self-doubt.

The truth is, we often don’t realize where those hours go. Time passes quickly, and before we know it, we’ve lost a significant part of our day. In the current year, I’ve decided to spend that time on things that truly matter-working toward my goals and focusing on my personal growth.

5. Believe in Yourself Again

"If you keep carrying old bricks, you’ll keep building the same house." I read this quote, and it stuck to me.

Sometimes, after putting your heart and soul into something and not succeeding, it can be incredibly hard to trust yourself again. I know that feeling too well. The self-doubt creeps in, and you start comparing your past failures to your present.

I’m beginning to let go of that baggage through baby steps, focusing on my internal desires, and manifesting success as if there’s no turning back. I remind myself that my potential is still there, and I won’t allow past failures to define my future.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in a cycle of self-doubt, here’s what I want you to remember: You deserve to believe in yourself again. Take that first step, no matter how small, and give yourself the chance to rebuild with fresh bricks. Your success is waiting-it’s time to chase it.

Final Thoughts

These aren’t just resolutions; they’re shifts in mindset and actions that are helping me create a better version of myself. Change doesn’t happen overnight, but with consistent effort, we can make this year the one where we truly grow.

So, what’s one thing you’re ready to start doing in 2025? Let’s make this year our year.
