Like anyone focused or interested in AI right now - I spent much of the weekend building GPT's. If you don't know what GPT's are, you are definitely going to over the coming weeks and months. Essentially a GPT is a off shoot of ChatGPT that allows you to tailor it's focus to a certain task. For example I built a GPT that is specifically designed to assist a person to determine what they need to power their project with solar energy including how many solar panels, battery storage and recommended components.

One of the GPT projects I worked on over the past few days is a bot that creates a daily financial newsletter with a specific focus on AI in the finance sector. I asked it to provide 5 topical news stories as well as cover 5 AI tools related to the niche. Each topic was to have a minimum of 2 sentences describing it as well as a URL to the topic. Here is the unedited, unrefined results. I've taken out the URL hotlinks as LinkedIn penalizes any articles that draw users away from the site.

All in all, that wasn't a bad first try considering I hadn't given it much in the line of prompts or instructions. It took it upon itself to decide it was a monthly newsletter and gave it it's own name - but from a content perspective, it was relative and current and can easily be expanded - or made into a daily newsletter.

So I've asked the GPT to rewrite the newsletter with the following instructions...

This newsletter is going to be a daily newsletter. Please include a section at the beginning summarizing the AI financial industry for the day. Mid way through add a section saying that this space is available for sponsorship and to contact us through our website.
