Her Brain Exercises

Before beginning tonight's page, I must inform all of you that I've been having problems with the online server which keeps my website running, which means I'll not be posting anything on Holtz Realty's site tonight, but at least I'm able to post on several of the social medias I'm connected with.?

My day started out a bit earlier than normal, and only because there was a late-arriving blueberry plant I had to get in the ground, along with getting some purple asparagus harvested which was getting a bit too tall.? Thank goodness I have an 'outlet' for the surplus who happens to be very much into good food that's made from natural ingredients. I'm gonna try my hand at vacuum-packing and sending those spears to the freezer.? Once I had my little 'chores' done, I dropped off the surplus to a grateful one, and then calibrated my brain back to my job of real estate sales.?

Part of my morning was spent working on getting some numbers crunched on some comparable sales which recently took place, just so I'll have some facts to share with a seller tomorrow.? As of right now, I'm still planning on getting the home listed sometime tomorrow, so be sure to watch for it, and without a doubt, it should sell in a relatively short period of time.?

There were a number of errands I had to run for a long-term client, along with placing a 'check-up' call to an acquaintance who's going thru some tough times.? Luckily, every time we visit, I can tell my uplifting words are slowly helping.? As I've said many times, it's always good to have at least one person you can bare your joys and sorrows with, because it always seems to help with our daily jobs of living.? I always make a point to share something that's funny, just to end our conversation on an upbeat note.

I just happened to run into another businessperson in our downtown, and after being asked what exactly happened at the back of my office this past Monday morning, I freely and willing gave a detailed recollection of it all, as well as sharing some information about the person I believe precipitated it.? As always, there was anger and resentment being shown, which I actually found comforting to know there really are business people in our midst who care about health and welfare of one other.?

There was yet one more paying-it-forward for a client who was having issues with her sliding closet doors, and unfortunately she couldn't find anyone to add several new components, so yours truly offered to do it.? Thank goodness everything went as well as expected, because in the past, there've been times when I was ready to rip a few of them off their tracks and hang closet curtains as replacements.?? Yes, they can be very troublesome at times.

While visiting the her as I was fixing them, she mentioned something about taking some time out each and every day, to work on what she considers her 'brain exercises', which I'm sure are those online tests which are becoming popular with the seniors.? I teasingly said, “Well, I don't bother with such stuff because the practicing and playing I do at those three churches here in the city, keep me physically and mentally synchronized, and especially when I'm called to play vintage pipe organs.? Just remember, I have to keep my fingers, feet and brain working together.? Right?

My last appointment for the day was to show two homes to a customer I've been working with for a number of months, and as chance would have it, I could tell one of them may possibly be the home they've been looking for, so hopefully they'll call and want to see it again this coming weekend, but that's only if it doesn't get sold in the meantime.? Once I've worked with a buyer long enough, it doesn't take me long figure out what the trigger-tripper is.

I'm still in disbelief another Friday is arriving tomorrow, but at least it's been a 'good' busy week which always helps the hours and days move all the faster, so here's wishing all of you an absolutely delightful Friday.?

Tonight's One-liner is:? Creative minds have always been known to survive any kind of bad training.??
