Proving operational capability of land-based AI-supported assistance system "Ceretron" at Army Combat Training Centre

With a technology demonstration at the German Army Combat Training Centre (GüZ), HENSOLDT has successfully shown the operational capability of our land-based networked sensors with our technology demonstration vehicle.

In front of military representatives, the assisted and automated reconnaissance capabilities of the demonstrator could be compared against the real-time situation display of the "AGDUS" duel simulator used at the GüZ.

HENSOLDT radars protect German cities

HENSOLDT will supply six high-performance radars to the German Armed Forces as part of Diehl Defence's IRIS-T SLM air defence system. As part of an order from Diehl Defence worth a three-digit million euro sum, the first system is to be delivered to the Bundeswehr next year.

This order will close a capability gap of the Bundeswehr and at the same time mark the start of the European Sky Shield Initiative (ESSI), strengthening national and alliance defence.

HENSOLDT increases order intake and profitability in the first half of 2023

The HENSOLDT Group further strengthened its position as a leading company in the European defence industry with global reach during the first half of 2023. The company’s revenue in this period increased by 6.4% to EUR?726?million (H1 2022: EUR?682?million).

Driven mainly by increased revenue growth, combined with an increase in costs that was slower than the revenue growth, adjusted EBITDA grew by a significant 34.7% to EUR?82?million (previous year: EUR?61?million). The adjusted EBITDA margin improved to 11.3% (H1 2022 year: 8.9%).
