Hendrick Lexus Kansas City Supports Two Local Organizations on 9/11/17
Heart of America Patriot Foundation again this year at their annual Golf Benefit. Like past years we chose to sponsor a Hole-In-One Prize Opportunity for a 2-Year Lease of an RX F-Sport, we also had 4 employees representing us in a foursome and a table on Hole #17, where employees greeted all golfers and handed out gifts to all participants.
This event is a wonderful example of community involvement and support for our veterans on this very important day (9/11) in our Country’s history.
The Heart of America Patriot Foundation was originally formed in 2012 as the KC Charity Golf Foundation to specifically facilitate a golf benefit with all the proceeds going to local veterans and their families. This year’s event raised over $80,000, one of their biggest years to date.
We also participated in the 36th Annual Enshriner’s Gates’ BBQ Charity Golf Tournament. The Enshriner’s are always looking for ways to improve the Kansas City, MO community and this year’s proceeds benefit the development of the Archive Plaza which will be located on the south side of 18th Street, between The Paseo and Vine Street. The Plaza will draw visitors to the 18th and Vine area.
It’s wonderful to know your sponsorship makes a direct impact on our local veterans and community improvements and one of the reasons we choose to support both of these amazing organizations every year.
