Psyctotherm manufactures refrigeration and air conditioning units for marine applications, specialising in design, manufacturing and installation. Psyctotherm also has vast experience in retrofits, maintenance and repair, leveraging the company's marine experience since 1969.

For how long has Psyctotherm been a member of HEMEXPO?

Since 2014, Psyctotherm is a founding member.

What is your flagship product?

Our flagship product in general is the cooling units we manufacture.

More specifically, our package A/C unit, either in sea or fresh water-cooled options, is one of our flagship products. These are water cooled package A/C units specially designed for engine control rooms, workshops, galleys and BWTS installations. They have been designed specifically to increase efficiency by reducing power consumption by up to 28% and noise by up to 18dBA!

We also use high quality brands for main components such as (Copeland compressor, EBM fan, FARAD condenser).

What percentage of your business is exports? To which countries are you mainly exporting to?

Exports are about 70%. Further to that, we are exporting worldwide, to wherever the vessel is.

Can you please tell us about a project you have worked on recently?

Our most recent interesting project is the complete replacement of the air conditioning system for a passenger vessel, as per the new requirements. We manufactured two new chiller units, seven package autonomous A/C vertical units and central AHU units with heat exchangers for recuperation of thermal power. We also provided ducts installation and the piping network as well as completing all of the electrical work required.
