Good Morning,

We’re in July, which mean Summer holidays are almost here. It’s important that we all really take that break – switch off from work and enjoy quality time with the people we care about.

If you have time off booked soon, make sure you lay the groundwork for a relaxing summer right now, before the schools close (if you are a parent) and you jet off (if you have a holiday booked):

  1. Schedule important calls/meetings in advance or, schedule them for when you return, so that no one feels ignored and you still get to switch off.
  2. Set an OOO message – and stick to it!
  3. Set boundaries - communicate with your clients and colleagues so they know when you won’t be available to make sure you can help before your time off, not during it.

Wellbeing Strategy’s are not just a ‘perk’

Pre Covid, wellbeing strategies were often seen as a perk, or a ‘nice to have’, but we’re finally starting to see these? initiatives and strategies getting the budgets they deserve. The latest AON Global Wellbeing Survey Report notes that 7 out of every 8 companies have at least one wellbeing initiative in place, and more than 80% have a wellbeing strategy.??

The benefits are also continuing to show, with companies that have strategies in place seeing improvements not only in employee satisfaction and loyalty, but also in employee productivity and overall financial business results.?

If you don’t have a wellbeing strategy in place, it’s not too late to start - and that’s where we can help!
