Conceptually, growing your business is simply about selling more things to more people - and growing the value of each transaction. Often though, we are too busy in the "heat of battle" to see what's needed and how we need to move forward or change.
Bringing in external resources with an uncluttered view, can stimulate fresh ideas as well as validate other previously dismissed ideas. A customer engagement and portfolio review are often good places to start as well as defining clearly who you are and what you do for whom. Sounds simple I know, but rarely done. Again we are all busy people and every day we are so busy "chopping down the tree", that we seldom take the time to pause and "sharpen the saw" for a more effective return on effort.
