Helping Troubled Kids & Their Families

Fiscal Year End Appeal

Fourteen years ago I founded SavingTeens in Crisis Collaborative (SavingTeens) to help deserving families help their children deal with substance abuse and emotional issues that are beyond the capabilities of the local school district and parental guardian. Like all charities, we rely on the generosity of people like yourselves to make things happen.

We receive dozens of emails each month from parents who are struggling with a teen in crisis. Every email is a desperate plea for support of their at-risk teen. Over the years, they have witnessed their teen battle mental health issues, addictions, risky behaviors, and academic decline. They have exhausted their financial resources on medical bills, outpatient programs, and professional services. They have pursued every avenue to find the proper treatment for their child, yet their teen is still in crisis. With nowhere else to turn, parents rely on SavingTeens' services to save their child's life.

SavingTeens' unique focus is to provide a comprehensive, multi-phase solution. For each family we work with, we commit to 12-18 months of services including consultation, advocacy, and funds. This long-term plan for recovery is essential for a teen's success and extremely costly.

Currently, SavingTeens has the capacity to fund an average of 15 troubled teens per year. As the number of scholarship requests increases, we must raise additional funding to adequately service those in need. Your donation today increases our scholarship resources and our ability to provide a total solution to troubled teens and their families.

"Finding SavingTeens has given me hope again, I never imagined finding a group who was committed not just to a fast treatment option but for a long-term solution."

Imagine being the parents of a teen who needs help, but you lack the resources to access the care that's so desperately needed.

One of our first kids, many years ago, was going to juvenile detention when we connected with his parents. Today, after over 18 months of treatment, he is employed, married, and just had his first child. He says he owes it all to SavingTeens.

SavingTeens' fiscal year end is quickly approaching and additional resources are needed. I am hopeful that you will consider making a donation before June 30th to help these additional teens in crisis.
