Helping Pittsburgh Students Build Skills for Success: A Challenge Grant

I’m pleased to announce that Dale Carnegie has teamed with the Neighborhood Learning Alliance, a Pittsburgh-based non-profit, to provide success skills training for qualified students who are financially disadvantaged. And you can get involved – by participating in the resulting challenge grant, on behalf of your company or yourself.

Here’s how it works:

The Neighborhood Learning Alliance will sponsor 5 students to attend The Dale Carnegie Course for Young Adults. Dale Carnegie will sponsor another 5 students. To meet the challenge requirements, we need at least an additional 5 students to be sponsored – and you can do that in whole or in part. If your company sponsors 5 or more students, you’ll become part of our Pittsburgh metro area marketing for the course. But you can sponsor as few as one student if you so desire; and it might be tax-deductible. 

The NLA has identified a number of students who, based on their previous performance, could be the movers and shakers in Pittsburgh’s future, and your sponsorship will help them get off to a successful start early in life, helping them fulfill that role.

What a great way to help youngsters, put your stamp on the community, and get some good will for your company – all at once.
