Helping others in need

Alhamdullilah, we assist as many families as we can in need of food services, clothes, furniture, and other items as needed (diapers, household items, baby items, sadaqa/charity). Currently we have many families who can use any of the following items listed below:

We have so many families in need of our duas, and many in need of other items as well. If you can, please read this list and if you have any of these items please contact us at [email protected]. Please keep in mind when we donate items we want to give others the BEST of what we have (new or like new items, if used in excellent condition):

One of the families we assist has a young son undergoing chemotherapy who is only 9. He just got his first dose of chemotherapy a few days ago and is in extreme pain. We are asking everyone who can to make dua for Alhussein and his family who is also going through a lot of pain and suffering due to their son's cancer. We are collecting blankets for this family (new, or like new), baby food and baby formula for their baby and boys clothes sizes 6, 8, and 10 and 12. This is a very large family. We are also collecting sadaqa as the father is only able to work part-time due to having to take his son to doctor appointments weekly.

A sister expecting a baby girl in mid-October needs a car seat (must be new or like new)--no older car seats please;

(she can also use baby clothes and baby blankets);

Four families with baby girls needing baby clothes ranging in size from newborn to size 12 months for fall and winter wear;

baby food and baby formula for several families who can use it;

Fall and winter clothes for boys sizes 6, 8, and 10; (pants, long shirts, sweatshirts, sweaters, coats, thobes, shalwar khameez);

Fall and winter clothes for girls size 10 and 12 (hijabs, jumpers, pants, jackets, sweaters, long skirts, shirts, coats)

Abayas (larger sizes XL, sizes 1X and 2X) for sisters.

If you live outside metro Atlanta and would like to donate items, please contact us at [email protected]. We can accept donations via [email protected] or at our website at www.madinahfoodpantry.org via PayPal. Items can also be sent via mail through Amazon Prime, UPS, etc..... if you would like to do that please let us know and we will send an address. Most of these families are refugees, and single parent families.
