Would you like to part in our Helping Hands Homeless Shoebox Appeal, to bring a bit of happiness to those without a home this Christmas?
I am asking you to fill an empty shoebox with inexpensive items such as toiletries, hat, gloves, scarf, socks, sweets or chocolate and baby wipes and then wrap it up in Shiny Christmas Paper.
Every year homeless people are sleeping in the cold and watch everyone enjoy the festive spirit, so I wanted to give local homeless people a gift of their very own. These boxes will not only provide practical essentials to use over the winter months, but, more importantly the opportunity to feel like a human being, not ignored or looked down upon, but respected and loved and given a gift to unwrap of their very own. EVERY person matters!
Sonovate, 80 Cannon Street, London, EC4N 6HL have kindly signed up to be a collection point for giving homeless people a practical, festive gift.
We aim to give them out on Wednesday 11th December in London. What better way to spend my Birthday, than giving back!
You can either:
1. Send them to me at Sonovate at the address above
2. Give it out locally and don't forget to post a picture showing how far and wide this message has reached across the globe!
3. Join me in London to hand them out. What a great opportunity to meet up and do something worthwhile. DM if you want to join me on the day.
