Have you come across a situation in life some time that you were in deep trouble and had no idea of how to come out of the ditch life has put you in, but then suddenly a hand appears and helps you to pull out of the situation very delicately and ensures that you are out of danger, believe me it is the hand of the God himself.
My Grand mother used to teach me that as you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself, the other one is for helping others. If you cannot, fold your hands, bless your brothers, and let you never know when a helping hand will change another person's entire life. By helping others we are making this world a better place. Hands have their own language which they speak with others in trouble.
How beautiful the feeling is to help someone with your own hands. Every one needs help and some times people are not aware from where the help with come to them, but help does come through somehow through helping hands from out of the blue, when you are least expecting someone to come forward to help you. This is the time you start believing in God, or humanity or spirituality or whatever you think is beyond your own thoughts.
Extending a helping hand not only vanishes tears off their face, but also acts as a cure for oneself. Helping someone in need is the best thing we can do. The kindness that you show will always be returned to you by the universe. There are so many beautiful quotes on Helping hands from great human beings of the world. " Do it over and over again, and you will be filled with joy.” – Buddha. "It is to be useful, to be honourable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson. “If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap. They say that what goes around comes around. - When there are people who you know and are critical, you have to pray. Helping others is not only encouragement, support and assistance for them but is also a blessing to you.
We all face problems and unfavourable circumstances. During this time, we expect people (relatives, friends etc.) to pray for us. At times, situations are so bad that we expect people to help us rather than praying. Even though praying is helping in a way, our mind expects an “immediate” need. Sometimes, out situations gets worse. Prayers are something we all can do. What we need at this time is a helping hand. Let’s take an example of someone who needs blood. This situation requires immediate help. Situations like when someone can’t cook- Certainly, you can’t pray. You have to help. There are so many ways by which we can offer a helping hand in many situations. Help doesn’t have to be big or small. There are so many institutes for orphans, widows etc. to which we can contribute. There are old people who need help for getting things from the market or medicines from the chemist shops, we can always be their helping hands. Consider people at an old age. Least they can do is pray. For someone who is close to you and is going through pressures like marriage, diseases etc. in such cases, all you can do is pray. If you can’t help, you can at least pray. It is better than not doing anything for your loved ones.
"We love to hold each other’s hands while walking through town because it is through that hand and that feeling that we experience our love for each other." Swami Vivekananda. A help doesn’t always have to be monetary. At times you are not in a position to offer a helping hand. We’re all experiencing this thing called LIFE together and as you know, it isn’t always an enjoyable ride. Therefore friends always extend your helping hand to someone in need it will be acknowledged and appreciated with great feeling of gratitude that makes the world a beautiful place to live in.
