Welcome to Six Degrees of Separation from an Awesome Job and I have a story to share with you. It's about my good friend Emelie Birgersson , who's in search of her dream job. Now, let me tell you a bit about Emelie.
Emelie is one of those people who radiates positive energy wherever she goes. Her creativity knows no bounds, and she's always coming up with new ideas and the way to execute them. She's got an eye for design, a passion for sustainability, and a heart for people. And let me tell you, she's the real deal.
One of the things I love most about Emelie is her passion for creativity and storytelling. She has a background in TV production and has worked on major shows for SVT (Sveriges Television). She also loves being in front of the camera, and has even appeared in a few music videos! Her favourite one to shoot was for Dalaplan's song "Paniken v?xer," which was a hilarious experience (you’ll have to ask her all about it). If you look up the Swedish word "linslus" in the dictionary, you'll probably find a picture of Emelie!
In addition to her love for creative pursuits, Emelie is also passionate about sustainability and second-hand interior design. She runs a webshop/creative space for pre-loved items and is always looking for ways to make a positive impact on the environment.
Emelie and her partner are also in the midst of renovating their house, and they've been working on it for three years without breaking up. If that's not dedication, stubbornness, and fearlessness, I don't know what is!
Emelie ended up in my life as we used to work together at Billetto , where she was instrumental in getting the Swedish arm of the business off to a flying start by using her expertise in #businessdevelopment and #customersuccessmanagement. She was able to land some pretty amazing (and hard-to-reach) promoters and establish Billetto as a key player in the entertainment technology space. We worked very closely together and attended a lot of industry events in order to get this startup on the map. Like the time we attended #wayoutwest with N?jesguiden and casually bumped into Luke Bracey (if you know you know).
Here's the thing - Emelie is a bit of a jill-of-all-trades. She's got over a decade of experience in the field, and she's a quick learner when it comes to new projects and technologies. Plus, she's got a way with people that just can't be taught.
Emelie is a rockstar and knows exactly what she's looking for. She wants to join a fun and creative team, preferably in a scale-up or larger corporation. She's all about working for a product or service she's passionate about, and bonus points if it's related to #interiordesign, #people, #culture, or #sustainability.
Now, here's where we need your help, dear readers. If you know of any job openings or opportunities that fit Emelie's preferences, slide into her DMs, or pass this article along within your network!?
Emelie is open to roles in the creative, music, food, interior, fashion, cosmetics, tech, charity, and community industries. She's also a whiz at using various tools like Meta Business Suite, Salesforce, Slack, Photoshop, Trello, and Canva. Basically, she's a one-woman army of creativity, passion, and skill.
So let's rally together, spread the word, and help Emelie find her dream job. Let's show how this #SixDegrees theory works, and fingers crossed we'll connect her with the perfect opportunity through one of our amazing readers! Let's make some career magic happen!
