Helping an Artist in Need - Hugo Newton.

My Name is Giorgio Pasqualin, and I am not going to write about myself, my experiences in the Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals industry, or any other industry-related trends. Instead, I am writing this article about one of the most amazing artists that I've known to date. His name is ???????? ????????????, and Hugo is the man that you see in the picture shown above.

???????? is a native from Venezuela, coincidentally from the same little town I was born in. San Jose de Guanipa in the Anzoategui State of Venezuela. I don't know if you may be aware of the very challenging living conditions ordinary citizens have to deal with in Venezuela right now, but the truth of the matter is that they are living in conditions that we would sometimes consider unimaginable.

???????? ???????????? has had a brilliant career spanning over 50-years, and his art has been exhibited in Milan, Chicago, Hong Kong, Panama, Miami, and many other places. But he is a family man that has been so attached to the soil that saw him grow as a kid, as a teenager, as an artist, and as a man. I don't know whether it was because of the Mango flavors that can only be found in San Jose the Guanipa, the breeze that can be felt coming from the Savannahs from where vast amounts of extra-heavy oil were once extracted, or simply because he loves it so much there that never made him leave with his unprecedented talents to more prosperous territories.

Hugo and my mother have been friends like forever. Unfortunately, I have never met ???????? ???????????? in person, but it feels like I have. I have admired each one of his paintings since I was a little kid, and more so because I was able to appreciate with an indescribable admiration one of Hugo's paintings that he gladly did for my mother and that we proudly displayed in our apartment living room.

Every chance I had, I would go on and watch the painting from a close distance and analyze the way Hugo created such outstanding colors, and how he moved each one of his brushes to create such incredible masterpieces. Mind you, I am no art expert! but once you begin looking at any of his paintings, that's exactly what Hugo's art makes you, because he makes your imagination go free to create anything that you may want from them.

So, you may now be wondering, why is a guy that has nothing to do with art writing an article about art? And that is a great question dear reader. ?? ???? ?????????????? ?? ?????? ???????? ?????????? ????????.

You see, ???????? ????????????'s is not begging for anything, he's not even asking for any help. This is an initiative of my own, and I pray and hope that some of you, true art appreciators may be able to extend a hand to him. After the following picture, I will explain how this initiative was born, and how we can help ???????? ???????????? to continue with his legacy.

Hugo did ten (10) letter size paintings for my mum as a gift, and my mother, knowing that I have always wanted to own one of his large paintings, she offered me the 10 paintings so I could make a canvas collage with his paintings, and proudly display them in my office.

But through my mother, I've known about Hugo's humility, his desire to continue to paint, and more importantly, educate the newer generation of artists. Unfortunately, due to Venezuela's depriving situation, for Hugo, it is impossible to afford the raw materials he needs to continue his work and his legacy. He currently does not have access to ???????, ??????, ????????, ????????, ??????, ??? ??????? ????????? he needs to keep his workflow going.

To solve this problem, I have stepped to the plate with a "MISSION TO HELP HUGO NEWTON"

All proceedings from the sale will be used to purchase raw materials such as ???????, ??????, ????????, ????????, ??????, ??? ??????? ?????????, and for organizing the special shipping to Venezuela and pay for the Door to Door delivery, to avoid for those being either lost in transit, confiscated by the authorities, or any other eventualities that may occur due to the situation in Venezuela.
