I love this song by the Beatles. It was our call then, and it’s still our call today. We need each other! Why? Because we were meant to be in relationship, both personally and professionally.

We are Better Together!

The song goes on to say, “When I was younger, so much younger than today. I never needed anybody's help in any way.

But now those days are gone, I'm not so self assured

Now I find I've changed my mind, and opened up the doors!”

When we were younger, we wanted to be independent and we thought we knew it all! We were ready to take on the world and we seemed sure it was going to all come to us and life would be good. But then we grow up…

We discover we cannot do it all by ourselves and we lose our self confidence. Doubt, limiting beliefs, and imposter syndrome start to take over.

We need Help!

We start to open up to others and look for help!

Les Brown says, “You need to ask for help, not because you’re weak, but because you want to stay strong!”

We learn and grow through life experience and the help of others. We are not on an island and we cannot do everything all by ourselves.

The same goes for us helping others. “At the end of the day, it's not about what you have or even what you've accomplished. It's about what you've done with those accomplishments. It's about who you've lifted up, who you've made better.” - Denzel Washington

We need each other.?

We need to lift each other up.

We bring out the best in others when we intentionally help. It is how a loving community is developed.

It is what God created us to be… in fellowship with one another.

But, sometimes life gets messy and rough.

The Beatles song goes on to say… “Help me if you can, I'm feeling down, and I do appreciate you being 'round

Help me get my feet back on the ground. Won't you please, please help me!”

We need to seek help when we need it, and we need to give help when it’s needed! We can help each other stay grounded and on task.
